Design Services
My interior design services focus on the built environment of the home—the elements that shape how a space is planned, detailed, and ultimately built.
I work on spatial planning, kitchen and bath cabinetry design, built-ins, millwork and trim details, and the selection of materials such as flooring, tile, and paint. These decisions form the architectural framework of an interior and have the greatest influence on how a home functions and feels.
When appropriate, I draw from historic sources such as architectural plan books, period details, and traditional building practices to guide design decisions. This helps ensure that new work feels natural to the character of the home.
Ideas often begin with hand sketches and are developed into clear CAD drawings that can guide renovation and construction. My work focuses on the permanent elements of the home rather than furniture, art, or decorative styling.
Interior design services are billed on a project basis, allowing the scope of work and level of detail to guide the overall fee.
